I need to define a few terms here.
Constitution - A List of approved bills that have been voted on and approved by Users.
Bill - An item that is either up for a vote or that has been added to the Constitution already.
Group - Can either be the general public or a small sub group such as a board of directors. The people allowed in a Group depends on the rules set forth when a Group is created.
Simulated Democracy
This blog will be used to help brainstorm ideas for and help to solidify a model for the website I am working on. The website will allow for a true democratic representation of a group of people.

How to pass a Bill
Should a Bill be passed strictly by a majority vote? If so is there a time deadline? Does a certain portion of the Group have to vote? Would it be different for each Bill?
Would there need to be moderators for this? Would they be elected officials or company appointed?

Intent
This idea has been nagging me for a while and I have made up my mind to explore it and implement it, at least on a small scale.
I want to create a website that allows for a true democratic representation of a group of people. This croup could be anything from a sports team to business to an entire country.
Each person in the group would have one unique log in that would be used to interact on the site.
The user would have the ability to create "bills" for other users to discuss and vote on.
